The Beginning
We met in our early twenties during our college days and became instant friends. Looking back, we always say our souls just weren't quite ready for each other back then.
Then on April 16, 2021, everything changed. A text from our mutual friend Matt invited Hilary to join the two of us for a casual night out. What started as a simple hangout turned into one of those unforgettable nights — we shared drinks, laughed for hours, and told stories until the early morning. Somewhere between the jokes and familiar conversation, something just clicked. We shared our first kiss that night, and from that moment on, we were inseparable.
The Proposal
Before popping the question, Brendan asked Hilary's dad, Mark, for his blessing. He made Mark promise not to tell Pam — but while they were in Switzerland, Mark couldn't keep the secret and ended up telling her.
As fate would have it, that very same day — September 2, 2023 — after a long hike to the top of Mt. Tamalpais, Brendan got down on one knee and asked Hilary to marry him. It was the perfect, serendipitous moment, surrounded by incredible views, happy tears, and a story we'll tell for the rest of our lives.
Our Future Together
Hilary, Brendan, and their beloved pup Lola currently live in Penngrove, CA. They look forward to a lifetime of adventure, laughter, and building a beautiful life together — wherever the road may lead.
